Just mailed out the invitations for the wedding. It totally didn't take me long at all to do them, and I even redid some of them that I didn't think looked perfect. My MIL didn't bother to weigh them, so I ended up paying the difference in postage... duh! And there were some overseas people that she didn't account for. I totally don't mind paying the difference...it wasn't a bank buster...but duh... think about it lady. Who wants 70+invitations bouncing back to you and you having to re-do the envelops? Amazing. Other than that... things are trucking along here at work. I am enjoying the freedom to try to do something I have never done before.. and kindof be on my own in a rather win - win opportunity. I really have nothing to lose and I like that feeling. My mom comes in tomorrow night for the weekend. She is staying at my sister's house. That will be fun for her to spend time with the kids. Dax and I will drive her up there... and I am sure it will take us 2+ hours to do so due to Friday night traffic. It really is insane. It should only take us 1 hour max. So, lame. I am enjoying the fact that my energy is back. I have been working out hard, and trying to get leaner. I like that I have more energy and feel so much better. It is amazing when you cut out the alcohol what will happen!

I got home from San Diego on Saturday night and I am still trying to work out the jet lag thing. I think after tonight I will be right as rain. All in all, it was a good trip... just intense. There wasn't a time that wasn't accounted for and maxed out. Lots of eating, drinking, socializing, partying, networking, learning a lot about our business. And, when I came home, our Best Man Rob was there with us until this afternoon so, I haven't had any down time with my husband and dog. I am looking forward to coming home tonight to nothing ness. I got to see my parents on Tuesday. I made a special effort to see them... and drove way out of the way. But, it was nice. We did some shopping and hung out a little... and caught dinner. Had a good time.

Things have been good with Daxy and I lately. ... not only just between us, but with both of our lives lately. Last night we watch the Yankees game at Town Hall and hung out with the owner who we really like and talked baseball. My favorite pitcher - Roger Clemens - was pitching... so that was a bonus. I like watching him. He is the epitome of strength and mental toughness. ... and I find him incredibly hot! Anyway... we were so happy and giddy with eachother. It also helps that I just came from Body Pump and had all the endorphins floating around along with a nice glass of wine. So, that was a fun night... Dax is going to FINALLY start his year long internship and he is excited about that... and so am I. I can't wait for us both to have full schedules.. and I am not the only one with a 40 hr. work week. Work is going really well for me. I am on my own and making sales, and I don't have the daily frustration of my former boss over me. Love that. working out hard is making me feel really good all day long too... I am sleeping really well too... so that is making for a happy Sweet T. Tonight we are cleaning up the house, packing and getting ready to go to CA tomorrow. I am looking forward to spending time on JetBlue... with the TVs and the leather chairs. Lame that we have to fly into San Diego... but that is the cheapest flights we could find. Dax is flying out in the morning and then I will join him at night after work. He will have an extra day to hang out with friends. ... and it was a cheaper flight for him to do that. It will be good to spend some time with my parents for a while. I feel like I am so removed from them, and that they are mostly focused on the grandkids, so it will be good to spend time with them without the kids there. I think it means a lot to them that we are making an effort to see them ... on our own, even if it is for a different purpose (to see Dax's sisters daughter - our neice be baptised - Dax is the god-father). I have been enjoying the heck out of Facebook lately. Complete fun! Work is trucking along. I need to get some more irons in the fire though.
